It is by telling you a part of our life that you will understand our story...

It all began in 1964 with our grandparents, Yvette and Max, both born in Lugrin.
A mason and a civil servant, nothing destined them to be at the head of a campsite.
It is between two construction sites and during the weekends that the development of the land and the management of the campsite are done. At that time, camping is becoming popular and a friendly spirit settles in.
The lively evenings to the rhythm of the accordion play an important role there.
A decade later, it's their son Jean-Michel who joins the adventure, a project that materializes within the family.
"Are you coming for the holidays?".
It was his favorite refrain for a young camper from the beautiful lands of the North.
Again, nothing destined our mother to settle here, and yet!
Little by little, Max hands over the keys to his son while continuing to play an important role.
If you come across an old gentleman on a scooter, that's him!
When it's our turn to participate, a summer season here, a summer season there, and here we are in 2023!
A decision from the heart for years of work and memories.
So it is up to the third generation to take up the torch and make it shine even brighter!
Some of you have known our family since its beginnings, a joy to meet again every summer, while others pass through our history fleetingly.
Camping Le Rys is a simple and family-friendly place that improves day by day, but for that, we need your support and your understanding.

We will breathe new life into this place and make it the place for your best vacations.
